results1Since opening our doors on January 2, 2000 TEENS, Inc. has:

  • Averaged 9,189 visits per year by area teens. 
  • Provided a drug and alcohol free space for over 33 different teens per day to recreate. 
  • Taught job related skills to 37 different teens per year through various youth employment programs. 
  • Provided 19 different leadership workshops per year on topics such as volunteerism, managing stress, goal setting and substance abuse. 
  • Eighty-one different teens have continued towards their educational goals through Chinook West. 
  • 90% of Chinook West students complete their high school education. 
  • Served over 1,500 children (0 – 11 years old) per year through classes, annual events, summer camps, soccer leagues and drop in play

results2TEENS, Inc. puts great emphasis on evaluating the impact that our programs have on the youth we serve.

  • According to an outside evaluator youth most involved in our programs witness an overall increase in self-efficacy. 
  • According to the Colorado School Bonding Survey, after one year at Chinook West youth are less likely to drop out of high school and more likely to continue their education following high school.

Since beginning programming in 1997, juvenile crime has decreased 58%.
